Projects > Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) Mitigation Acquisitions

In 2009, LCB was added to a talented team led by ICF Jones & Stokes working with Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) to provide environmental consulting services related to PG&E’s Regional Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) program in central and northern California. PG&E’s San Joaquin Valley HCP includes mitigation for up to 24 species of plants and animals in three specified zones. Other regional HCPs are under review by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the California Department of Fish and Game. Working with landowners, public agencies and non-profit land trusts, LCB will conduct parcel search, manage real estate transactions, coordinate agency documentation, and secure long-term stewardship of the conservation areas.
