This 24-acre riparian forest is adjacent to the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge and includes 2200 feet of the Sweetwater River. Property is suitable for conservation or mitigation as its rich with high quality habitat, supports federal and state threatened and endangered species and is located directly adjacent to conserved lands. The property has historically supported up to 5 pairs of breeding least Bell's vireo, a federal and State endangered species. Vegetation communities include southern cottonwood willow forest, southern willow scrub, mule fat scrub, open water, Diegan coastal sage scrub, non-native grassland, eucalyptus woodland and non-native vegetation.
